Gestern wurden erstmals die Nominierungen für den International Emmy Award im französischen Cannes verkündet. In zehn Kategorien konnten sich insgesamt 41 nominierte Formate behaupten. Deutschland ging mit drei Nominierungen ins Rennen: „Türkisch für Anfänger“, „Cityboy“ und „DieWölfe“. Über eine Beteiligungsproduktion nimmt Deutschland indirekt auch mit der dänischen ZDF-Koproduktion „The Protectors“ teil.
